As I'm sitting down to write this article, I can't help but smile. I realize that I've been so fortunate to have such incredible wedding couples in my life... especially this year. Being a wedding photographer in Austin, TX is such a fun and enjoyable career for me. After 13 years of capturing such amazing weddings, I've learned that it's not just the delightful wedding floral designs, Hallie's incredible Vera Wang bridal gown, the delicious food, and the stunning venues that make for such a marvelous wedding day. It's the people that make the wedding.

I know I have a tendency to ramble when it comes to my wedding couples. But I truly believe the most important ingredient for a splendid wedding is the people. In my blog post about Beth and Dan's Houston Wedding, I talked about the importance of the people in the wedding rather than the wedding details. Today, Hallie and Sean's wedding was a shining example of the importance of the people at the wedding, rather than the details.

It's amazing how a wedding comes together when a bride and groom put family and friends first, along with each other. Everything just falls into place. Their Camp Lucy wedding at the Sacred Oaks ceremony site was unimaginable. Despite the Texas Hill Country summer heat, it seemed as if all the elements for a perfect wedding day just fell into place. The sunset was stunning, the people were friendly, the food was delectable, the music was wonderful, and so on and so forth.

Hallie and Sean, whether you realize it or not, your newly made family is strong, warm, and caring. Not everyone is blessed to have such a solid foundation. And I'm so grateful to have been a guest at your very special day.

Thank you so much, Bhalaje. That really means a lot to me. I also love your work, especially the wedding of Shruti & Praveen. Your use of color is simply amazing. Again, thank you very much. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
