Four Seasons Wedding | Leigh + Chad

posted in: Weddings 0

Working with an easy going couple is always a pleasure. When Leigh first contacted me about photographing her Four Seasons wedding, I was thrilled. Not because the hotel is a gorgeous venue, but because of Leigh and Chad’s laid-back demeanor. From the start, I knew this would be a wedding to remember.

As a wedding photographer, I’m usually second or third on the wedding checklist. So all of the other decisions when it comes to floral design, cakes, and dresses, I never get a chance to see everything come together until the wedding day. So you can imagine my delight when I arrived at the Four Seasons Hotel.

First off, Leigh’s wedding dress was stunning. I love her beautiful off shoulder vintage lace bridal gown. It was refreshing to capture her in gorgeous attire. Plus, Chad’s coral polkadot bowtie was the perfect accent to his suit.

The bridal bouquet and floral arrangements were beautiful. Every little detail was meticulously chosen to create the perfect look.

Something I always encourage is doing a First Look. It allows for better lighting, hair and makeup is fresh, and it’s the only time during the wedding day that bride and groom can be alone without rushing. It’s the perfect moment. Leigh and Chad followed up their First Look with pictures of the wedding party at the Driskill Hotel. And finally, we came back to the hotel for family formal photos.

The weather was perfect for their outdoor ceremony. And despite the bright sunlight, everyone’s attention was solely focused on the bride and groom. Shortly thereafter, Leigh and Chad were able to join their family and guests at the cocktail hour, having already done all of the family photos prior to the ceremony. It was perfect.

The reception was the perfect time for everyone to enjoy themselves. With so many delightful guests and family members, the only thing I had to focus on was getting the perfect shots.

Thank you so much, Leigh and Chad. Your Four Seasons wedding was as enjoyable as it was memorable. I can’t thank you enough for having me as your wedding photographer. I sincerely wish you both all the best.
