first look photos, austin tx wedding photographers, Reason Four: Modern versus traditional

Many of us were raised to respect family traditions. As understandable as this may be, why not start your own? Here’s a little history lesson for everyone. Back in the day, weddings were arranged for two people. Couples didn’t have a choice when it came to their future spouse. As absurd as it sounds today, we didn’t have any decision in the matter.

Today, our promise to marry comes from years of dating and getting to know each other before we commit our lives to one another. And here’s an odd fact, the tradition of the bride’s wedding veil was to prevent a groom from refusing to go ahead with his wedding vows.

Robin, thank you so much for your kind words! Ever since we started educating our clients on the option of First Look photos, they’ve really taken a liking to it. My goal is only to inform our clients of their options, rather than to persuade them one way or the other. They really appreciate being educated on it and most of the time they go for it :)
